More facts are emerging about the slain partner of investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Hussein Anas, Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
The undercover investigator and a key member of Anas Aremeyaw Anas’ Tiger Eye Private Investigations team, Ahmed Hussein-Suale, was shot dead two days ago, as MyNewsGh.com reported.
Ahmed was shot three times, twice in the chest and another in the neck late Wednesday night at Madina in Accra while he was driving home by unidentified men on a motorbike.
Ahmed hails from Wulensi in the Northern Region of Ghana where his two parents currently live.
MyNewsGh.com has learnt the late 31 year old Ahmed is survived by 8 children and 2 wives. He is due to be buried today at 10am at the Madina cemetery.
Some of his relatives who spoke earlier to our sister media outlet Joy News said the late Ahmed was with them when he received a call that his child had fallen ill.
“…shortly after leaving our company to take the boy to the hospital, we heard he was shot dead by some men rode away on a motorbike,” family source said.
The youth of the area and his family are agitated by the murder and are demanding justice for Ahmed.
A cousin of the deceased, Abdul Jalil Yakubu said the family is giving the state authorities a week’s ultimatum to produce some credible progress made in the investigation or they will be forced to react.
In a related development, Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyapong has said that he paid the school fees of Ahmed Hussein-Suale.
Ghanaians have called for the arrest of Hon. Kennedy Agyapong because he called on his workers to beat Ahmed Suale anytime he comes close to the offices of Oman FM and Net 2 TV.
But responding to the claim, Hon. Kennedy Agyapong has denied killing Anas’ partner.
He mentioned that the reason why he asked his employees to beat Ahmed Suale anytime he comes to their office is that he paid his fees in 2012 and did not expect him to grow to become a bad person of that sort to be working with a “criminal blackmailer” like Anas.
