Outspoken private legal practitioner, Maurice Ampaw has described men who have been engaging in oral sex as fools who have lost their senses and morality.

He observed that such disgusting practices are averse to African customs and traditions and very unhealthy and therefore urged the younger generation to eschew such practices they do in the name of love.

According to the controversial lawyer, the recent practice of some persons releasing their nude images and videos on social media is as result of some of these obscene practices and want parents to rise up to the occasion and prevent society from further rot.

His comments come in the wake of health concerns raised by the World Health Organisation that oral sex is producing dangerous gonorrhoea and a decline in condom use is helping it to spread

He, therefore, warned that if someone contracts gonorrhoea, it is now much harder to treat, and in some cases impossible.The sexually transmitted infection is rapidly developing resistance to antibiotics.

Experts said the situation was “fairly grim” with few new drugs on the horizon. About 78 million people pick up the STI each year and it can cause infertility. The World Health Organization analysed data from 77 countries which showed gonorrhoea’s resistance to antibiotics was widespread.
