The Babeyaa Clan of Santrokofi-Benua on Easter Saturday realised 5,000 Ghana cedis at a durbar to raise funds for the rehabilitation of their community centre.
The money was raised through the sale of food items, voluntary contributions of both residents at home and abroad.
Nana Sarku Brempong V, Chief of Benua and Nifahene of Santrokofi Traditional Area commended members of the Clan for their self-help spirit, and urged members who have not yet made any contribution to do so.
The community centre, which was built 29 years ago is in a dilapidated state and calls for urgent rehabilitation.
