Central Presbytery Youth Ministry of EP Church, Ghana marks 17th Convention

The Central Presbytery Youth Ministry of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church, has marked its 17th youth convention at the Hohoe Reverend Seeger Memorial Chapel.

 

The event which was on the theme: “Breaking the Grounds: Revisited, Now is Our Turn” started last Thursday and ended on Sunday.

 

The Central Presbytery Youth facilitator, Reverend Leonard Aglomasa in a speech admonished the youth not to be self-centered, but rather engage in activities that will develop the Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church, Ghana and society.

 

In his speech the Central Presbytery Moderator, Reverend A. K Baltes also challenged the youth to choose love over hatred as Christ did, through which they can win souls for Christ, and also live in harmony with people.

 

He advised them not to pick needless quarrels with friends and avoid making hasty conclusions without thorough investigations which often results in embarrassment in the public domain.

 

“Establishment of the Ten Commandments from God is for unique purpose and must be obeyed,” he stressed.

 

Fun activities such as quiz contest, fun games were not excluded from the celebration of the convention, while deserving participants were awarded.
