Crisis looms at Accra Great Olympics

There is looming crisis at Accra Great Olympic following the appointment of new coach Tom Strand.

The Swedish was engaged by management of the Premier League side to take over the team from player-coach Godwin Attram.

Lorlornyo Sports has gathered that players of the club and fans alike are divided between the two trainers.

While some are in support of the management’s decision, others are backing Attram, who qualified them to the elite division.

Yesterday, two training sessions were held by both coaches separately. Strand supervised the training of half the squad at St. Thomas Aquainas Park, while Attram led the remaining half to train at the Fire Service Park.

In an interaction with the media, Attram chastised some members of the management, and threatened to demand monies owed the team if the new coach was to continue.

Earlier this week, 36-year old Attram said he would not work for someone else to take the glory.
