EP Church Edem Congregation marks 10 years Anniversary

The Evangelical Presbyterian (EP) Church, Edem Congregation of Hohoe on Sunday celebrated its 10th Anniversary with the focus of raising funds to build a mission house.

The Western Presbytery Moderator Reverend Benjamin Senyo Yaw Asase, who cut the sod for the construction of the mission house, expressed gratitude to members for their support towards the growth of the church, and encouraged them to keep up with the good work.

He noted that as “we live in a sinful world, we are likely to offend one another, but forgiveness conquers it all” and, therefore, advised the congregation to use forgiveness as a daily routine tool.

The Guest of Honour, Togbe Otsyodibo VI, Divisional Chief of Logba Tota encouraged members to have plans for the future and to leave a mark in their lives, adding that people should respect their leaders and leaders should also exercise patience in handling the youth.

Togbe Otsyodibo entreated the congregation not to forget the poor, widows and persons living with disability in the society, but rather extend a helping hand to them.

The anniversary was on the theme: “Breaking New Grounds, Revisited Now is Our Turn.”

The EPCG Edem Congregation, Hohoe was established in 2006.
