Hohoe MP pledges NDC’s support for Hohoe MCE

The Member of Parliament for Hohoe Constituency, Dr. Mrs Bernice Adiku-Heloo has pledged the support of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Hohoe Municipal Chief Executive, Mr. Andrews Teddy Ofori.

Speaking at the first meeting of the second session of the seventh Hohoe Municipal Assembly, she identified unity as essential for development with a call on members of the municipality to unite to realise its developmental aspirations.

She pleaded with the Municipal Chief Executive to ensure recruitment of personnel to execute the school feeding  and other social intervention programmes be done in a non-partisan manner, adding structures be followed in recruiting qualified persons.

Applauding residents of the municipality for living in peace and harmony, she called on the Municipal Chief Executive and state security services to ensure the peace is protected.

Dr. Mrs. Adiku-Heloo admonished the MCE to practise an open door policy, adding she looks forward to having a cordial working relationship with him.

She called on assembly members and departmental heads to support her and the MCE’s office to move the municipality forward.
