Infrastructure coming – Amewu promises Hohoe chiefs

The people of Hohoe and its surrounding communities in the Volta Region will soon see some infrastructural development, Energy Minister John Peter Amewu, has said.

He noted that the Akufo-Addo administration is working hard to develop the whole country.

As a result of the hard work of the Akufo-Addo administration, Ghana has been recognised as one of the fastest-growing economies in the world.

Speaking to the chiefs and traditional leaders when he accompanied Health Minister Kweku Agyeman-Manu to tour the area, Mr Amewu said: “This town is a well-noted town for the NPP tradition. Most of the grandfathers of chiefs and elders sitting here today had to run to the Republic of Togo. “Unfortunately, because of the long period, that history has been forgotten, so, it is time we bring them back to memory.”

He added: “What this government is doing across this country, nobody can be able to say this government is not performing.

“Ghana has been chosen as one of the fastest-growing economies across the whole world. It is because of the hard work of His Excellency Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo.”

“You will soon see numerous infrastructure development,” he promised.
