Kotoko sack coach after 3 months

Premier League side, Asante Kotoko have sacked their Croatian coach Zdravko Lugarusic just three months after his appointment.
The Porcupine Warriors parted company with the 52-year-old, after a crunch meeting yesterday following their goalless draw against Ebusua Dwarfs.
The club’s Head of Communications, Obed Acheampong in announcing management’s decision said Assistant Coach Godwin Ablordey would take charge until further notice.
Since taking over as Kotoko Coach, Lugarusic has won five matches, drawn four and lost two – putting Kotoko second on the league log with 19 points.
In their last four matches Kotoko drew two at home against Inter Allies and Ebusua Dwarfs, and lost the other two matches away to Hearts of Oak and Aduana Stars.
Disgruntled fans of the club besieged the team’s training grounds last week to register their displeasure about their performance in the league.
Lugarusic was engaged in a two-year contract on January 10, 2017.

It is very sad to hear this. But I don’t think sacking the coach is the best way to solve this situation. Considering the number of coaches the sack over the past five years but still struggling, I suggest they should think of other alternatives rather than sacking coaches.
