The Guest of honour, Della Sowah Member of Parliament for kpando constituency advised the students to disabuse their minds that technical education is meant for the weak brains but instead be focused in their learning.

She also told the public to consider them as genius because they can only look into complex machine to detect faults, adding they have the potential to end unemployment since they acquire skills to employ.

Hon. Della Sowah further asked the students to give good image to the school, instead of being noted for causing trouble.

The Guest speaker for the launching, professor. Emmanuel K. Sakyi interim vice chancellor of Ho Technical University said availability of jobs is a major feature of every individual.
