Lorlornyo FM Broadcasting Training Center graduates 10th batch of students

Lorlornyo FM Broadcasting Training Center, (LBTC) this morning graduated its 10th batch of students under the theme Stabilizing Ghana’s Democratic Dispensation, the role of the media.

 Fifteen students graduated after six months of training in broadcasting, studio equipment, marketing, media law, interview skills and ethics of journalism.

The coordinator of the school, Eric Mawunyo Deh, in an address, said LBTC trains students to follow strictly tenets of the journalism profession.

He said the institution will soon announce the date for the commencement of the intake of the 12th batch of students.

A parent who addressed the gathering, Prosper Hedeka applauded tutors of LBTC for instilling knowledge into their wards.

He called on the graduants not to rest on their oars but put the knowledge they have acquired to good use.

Miss Xaxayi Mawuena – The overall best student

An educationist, Paul Addo, who delivered the key note address congratulated management of Lorlornyo FM for establishing the institute to produce qualified broadcasters.

He counseled the graduants to work towards the development of the country and follow the tenets of the journalism profession.

Chairman of the occasion, Reverend Tei Matti, in his closing remarks, admonished the graduants to be circumspect in their reportage.

Out of the 15 students who graduated and were given certificates, 9 were females and six males.

Miss Xaxayi Mawuena was adjudged the overall best student.
