MDAs market industries, investments opportunities at Volta Fair

Ho, Nov. 28, GNA – Municipal and District Assemblies in the Volta Region are taking advantage of the 4th Volta Trade and Investment Fair to market small and medium scale industries in their areas.
The Assemblies are also using the event as a platform to promote networking among industry players to open up the local assemblies.
The fair, which is on the theme; “Sustainable investment and industrial growth through trade promotion,” has so far seen some products from agro and food processing industries, leather craft and bead making industry, cloth and basketry weaving industry, and wood carving industry, among others, beautifully on display.
The Ho Municipal Assembly displayed products in handing crafts including beads, batik tie and dye, traditional and herbal medicines, and ziavitutui-a locally produced coffee from Ziavi.
Products from Ho West include coffee beans, artefacts, locally produced soap, and moringa seeds flower.
Adaklu District showcases products such as mushroom, honey, palm oil, bee wax and varieties of gari products made from ginger, cassava, coconut, soya beans and moringa while South Dayi exhibits variety of food products made from mushroom among others.
Artefacts, kente cloth and locally made bags and soaps are some products from North Dayi with Ketu South displaying varieties of corn flower, locally produced biscuits from ginger, coconut and moringa, gari and clothes.
Agotime-Ziope branded their stands with beautiful kente products while Afadjato South exhibited products such as beads, leather works, and clothes.
Anloga District had batik tie and dye, kente, beads with Ketu North showcasing variety of gari and other products.
