Meteo Agency warns of ‘heavy rainstorm’ today

The Ghana Meteorological Agency has announced that parts of the country will be hit by a heavy rainstorm today [Thursday, May 17, 2018].
According to the Agency, “the storms are expected to be accompanied by strong winds” from 7am.
Areas to be affected
Prince Appiah Kubi, the duty forecaster noted in a statement that the rainstorm will affect the Northern part of the country as well as some areas in the middle sector.
Meanwhile, some parts of the Greater Accra Region are experiencing moderate rainfall.
