There is this maxim within our local circles that says a man who works at Barkleys bank does not collect his monthly salary from the Prudential bank. It therefore follows that a man who rears chickens will not go for lizards in his quest to satisfy his appetite for meat. In Ghana, I dare say that 99% of men who have some form influence over the carrier or wellbeing of young ladies are involved in this unethical behavior. It does not only happen in academia. It happens in churches and even in the media fraternity. The recent BBC expose which unfortunately involves Professor Gyampo only marks the opening of the Pandora box.
In my estimation,I believe the average man in his quest to satisfy his libido will stop at nothing to have a bite of the bearded meat of the daughters of Eve at his disposal. After all, as long as the iron rod of Calcutta continues to exist, it shall always have a bite of the bearded meat…ethical or unethical!!!
