Private drivers advised to deist from using their vehicles for commercial purposes

Private vehicle owners have been advised against the use of their vehicles for commercial purposes without acquiring proper DVLA documentation.

The act according to Senior Engineer with DVLA, Hohoe Office, Sammuel Ankudey is against the law and culprits found will be punished.

Speaking in an interview with Lorlornyo News, Mr. Ankudey called on vehicle owners who wish to use their private vehicles for commercial purposes to visit the offices of the DVLA for assistance.

He admonished vehicle owners to purchase unexpired tyres for their vehicles so as to prevent accidents and called on them to inflate their tyres to the right specification and replace them as soon as they are worn out.

Speaking on surviving tyre burst, he urged drivers to hold the steering wheel firmly, release their foot from the accelerator gradually and avoid heavy braking.
