He said a directive from the Minister for Roads and Highways had been given for work to start on the roads and assured that the roads would be fixed soon.

Mr Amewu who is contesting the parliamentary seat in the Hohoe Constituency on the ticket of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), said he intended to push the Constituency in a different direction by providing jobs for the youth and enhancing the livelihood of the constituents devoid of political affiliation.

The Energy Minister was accompanied on the tour by some executives and members of the Hohoe Constituency NPP, engineers from the Ghana Highways Authority and the Ministry of Roads and Highways and officials of the construction firm, First Sky Group.
