We will recruit unposted graduates soon – MoH

Public Relations Officer of the Ministry of Health, Robert Cudjo has assured that clearance of aggrieved bonded unposted qualified allied health professionals will be completed as possible to make sure that they are recruited.

“We have gone a step further by submitting a clearance to finance, we all know the process by which these clearance letters are obtained. I will continue following up to ensure that we get the green light so we would be able to start the process of recruitment,” he added.

He made the statement after over 100 Allied Health professionals besieged the Ministry of Health on Monday to demand postings 9 months after the completion of their programmes of study.

The bonded unposted allied health professionals claim government refused to issue clearance letters to them – a situation that has left them jobless 9 months after the completion of their programmes of study and National Service.

However, Mr Robert Cudjo speaking to the aggrieved graduates assured them that the ministry was taking steps to ensure that their grievances are addressed as soon as possible.

“I will continue to appeal of all of you gathered here that their matter is of interest to government and that they should exercise patience and give us some time. I can’t give a definite timeline but I am personally taking the matter on a daily basis to ensure that the clearance is given, I will urge you and colleagues to end their picketing after this meeting,” he added.
